New Golf Stroke Analytics Service
Tonight, we at Lynn Blake Golf are pleased to introduce The Analyzer, a wonderful new Sports Analytics service powered by Dartfish. This premier program is loaded with unique features, and it will enable us to explore and enjoy the mysteries of the Golf Stroke together.

There is a bit of a learning curve involved, but it's a whale of a lot of fun and you'll learn a ton. The program comes up in Analysis View (see top left tab). There is also a Slide Show View. I'd suggest sticking with the Analysis View until you get a handle on your many options.

Begin by clicking the center arrow 'play' button on the Video Player and watch the complete Stroke in Slow Motion. The Loop button at the far right of the video Player allows Continuous Play. The multi-colored button at the left permits Full Screen. The buttons left and right of the play button permit you to go Frame-by-Frame. And don't forget to 'right click' your mouse for Zoom capability.

I have arbitrarily divided the Stroke into the Stroke Sections you see at the bottom of the screen. You can click on any one of these and immediately the photo appears enlarged in the Video Player. Also, my Commentary appears in the text box in the Analysis Section immediately to the left of the photo. In most sections, you will need to use the scroll bar to read the full text. The drawn red lines do not quite match up in this view, and if possible we will correct that situation soon.

They do, however, match up perfectly when Slide Show view is selected (tab at top left of screen). Here you can choose the number of photos you wish to display in groups of two, four or nine. Click on the text icon for the commentary. Again, don't forget the right click 'zoom' capability.

Okay, guys and gals, enough of this 'how to.' Time now to dive in and learn from the long-awaited Hitting Stroke of Ted Fort, a.k.a. 'Luke the Nuke.'

We filmed four Strokes: the Down-the-Line and Front views of the Pitching Wedge and Driver. We will begin this series tonight with the Down-the-Line Pitching Wedge and will post the Front view later in the week. We will complete the series with the Driver sequences. Each will have its own thread for commentary.

Proceed to the thread Ted Fort Hitting Stroke -- Pitching Wedge (Down The Line)and enjoy!
